The Event Best Known as “Buster Cluster”

One of the more memorable activities in recent years was the event affectionately called “Buster Cluster”.

This event, held on the weekend of July 28, 2006, was marked by more than a dozen members the Spridget and Bugeye lists, who came together in Southern California one weekend to completely assemble Buster and Pam Evans’ Bugeye; a car they owned from new. The goal was to have it assembled and be able to be driven by Buster and Pam by the 30th. Working for pizza and beer, members flew and drove into SoCal from all over the state and the around the USA to help make a dream come true. As you can see, the plan was successful.

I remember following the Buster Cluster from the start on the forum. That is what I like about the members, their knowledge and willingness to help one another. Whether it is someone new to the club or elders in need.

What a great way to remember Paul. He was so helpful on the Spridget list giving me advice on my 62 Sprite “Pinky”. I miss him : ( The best way to honor Paul and all our other LBC friends is to love and use our Little British Cars.

Gerard can you add all the names to the photos as I probably know them all from the list. Thanks and keep up this site.

Linda, I don’t know who everyone is. In the photo of everyone around the car, you know which one is Frank, Jim Johnson is to his left (at front wheel), Peter Caldwell in in red shirt at the center (opposite side) and Paul can be seen next to Peter. Buster is in the driver’s seat. No one else has ever identified for me.
